If you want to get into motorsports, rallycross racing is the most fun per dollar spent for beginners.
RallyX gives you the perfect environment to learn correct car control techniques that are then transferrable to most types of racing.
It is relatively cheap and is one of the safest forms of racing. You don't need special equipment or a roll cage. Just show up with a helmet and a road-legal car and send it!
Your driving time slot will be assigned after purchase. We’ll do our best to accommodate your preferred time, but please note that early bookings get priority. The event runs from 9 AM to 7 PM.
You’re welcome to join us for the entire day and enjoy the atmosphere, but you’ll be on the track only during your allocated slot.
You can drive your own car or Race Lab's Subaru Imprezas which are automatic with a manual gear selector.
For ages 16+. No driver's license needed, but some driving experience is required.
How it Works
If you choose an event, we will reach out to you to confirm your time slot after you make the purchase
If you choose "Flexible Event" for a gift or because you're unsure, please reach out to us after you make the purchase to discuss the logistics
***Please note all of our events run with a Rain Check Guarantee
When you sign up, you'll get a link to an advanced steering tutorial. We STRONGLY recommend practicing it in an empty parking lot before the event. This will help you drive at an advanced level, allowing your instructor to push you further beyond your limits.
This is optional but almost not optional because of how important it is.
Opt-in for a 2-3 hour online workshop with Crazy Leo a few days before the event. He covers advanced car control techniques, shares rally stories, and more. It's interactive, so feel free to ask questions or just be a fly on the wall—no pressure :).
This is optional but almost not optional because of how important it is.
On the event day please come 15 minutes before your time slot to sign in. A helmet will be provided.
You will be training in the car you selected one-on-one with an instructor on our closed dirt track. If you are using a Race Lab Subaru, you can choose to train in FWD or AWD mode depending on your skill level and goals.
At the end of your training, your instructor will do one flat-out lap in the same car, showing you what's possible in the hands of an experienced racer in the same conditions.
After the training day, you will get an email with custom feedback. This will include notes your instructor made during the training, additional commentary about your performance, as well as custom recommendations for future training and practice.
Generally recommended next steps would be:
- Retake this intro course as many times as you feel you need to establish a good understanding of what rallycross entails. Try coming out to different tracks to train on different types of surfaces and layouts.
- Coming out to train in your own car with or without a coach - Rallycross and Rally: Car Testing and Pro Training
- Reaching out to us to build a custom training plan for reaching your rallycross goals
If you are more advanced, please contact us so we can put together a custom and more advanced training plan for you.
