100 stars. Absolutely the best thing I have ever done. I enjoyed the entire experience. My instructor Kyle was knowledgeable and easy to understand. It was hard to absorb all the information provided in the 30 minute session that I selected. I would suggest 60min minimum. To allow for more laps in order to properly learn the track and get a feel for braking zones as well as turn in points. I have to many nice things to say to list them all. Crazy Leo was friendly and professional. If you want to learn better car control and overall become a better driver look no further. Was worth every dollar and will definitely return. Also brought my 7 year old for a course and his excitement/ smile when exiting the vehicle said everything you need to know. Definitely give it a try and you will not leave disappointed.

We recently visited RaceLab's Crazy Farm location in Markham for the Fun Driving Experience as part of a bachelor party weekend—and it completely exceeded our expectations! Our group included people who had traveled in from abroad, and this event was definitely a highlight of the trip. The setting is unique, the adrenaline is real, and the experience is both thrilling and educational. Whether you’re a total beginner or someone with some driving experience, you’ll walk away with new skills and a huge smile. Special shoutout to Leo, our instructor, who was absolutely fantastic. His passion for driving is infectious, and his ability to make complex techniques easy to understand made the day both fun and insightful. He kept the energy high, made everyone feel comfortable behind the wheel, and ensured we all had an unforgettable time. My experience at The Ultimate Rally Experience with Race Lab is something I will never forget. The driving portion was incredibly fun, learning how to push the car harder and maintain control while it stepped out during high- speed sections was a highlight. If this is your first time doing an experience like this, you will be fine, as you have the flexibility to drive as calmly as you like or really push your limits in a safe environment. The shotgun ride is where you truly realize these guys are no joke. The speeds and commitment to corner entry with Crazy Leo were like nothing I have experienced before; it was immediately clear why he is a championship winning driver! He's also just a cool guy tbh haha. The Millhaven track is also incredible, offering a tight, technical section above the quarry before heading into a higher-speed area where you can really open up the throttle and see what these cars are capable of. If you have the time and the budget, I could not recommend this experience more!

FAQ About Race Lab
Race Lab is a premier advanced driving school with a different approach to driver training: mixed-surface driving on dirt, gravel, snow, pavement, and more, using techniques drawn from advanced motorsports. Real roads are not always dry, flat, and predictable. We figured training should reflect that. Race Lab teaches safer, more confident and adaptable driving, working with everyone from everyday drivers to the Canadian Special Forces.

Race Lab’s founder, Crazy Leo, lives and breathes driving. He got behind the wheel at just 7 years old and has since won two Canadian national rally championship titles, competed in WRC, founded Race Lab in 2015, and developed a world-class curriculum designed to teach proper driving to just about anyone. Despite all that, he is remarkably one of the most down-to-earth and genuinely fun people you’ll ever meet.
Our curriculum is built by Crazy Leo, drawn from his career in rally racing, arguably the hardest motorsport on the planet, where "wrong technique" isn't a bad habit, it's a tree. So we teach driving techniques that actually work, from day one, to everyone who walks through our doors, kids included. And since every driver “drives at their own pace”, our approach to teaching is personalized to you.
Two words: Mixed Surfaces. A term coined at Race Lab meaning, essentially, “anything other than perfectly dry, flat pavement.”, which simulates true driving conditions in any season. Race Lab trains across multiple proprietary closed circuits in Ontario, each with its own surfaces and layouts. Some have mixed-surface skid pads, some have serious elevation. We also train on public backroads, city streets, and highways across Ontario and Quebec, as well as race tracks throughout Ontario. Because real driving happens in more than one kind of place.
A delightful bunch of drivers with rich motorsport backgrounds, from karting to stage rally, all rigorously trained by our founder. Our instructors have trained military personnel, claimed rallycross titles, and spent years developing their skills at Race Lab. So, mercifully, nobody here learned this from YouTube. You’re in very good hands and will learn a ton from any of our professional, knowledgeable instructors. And yes, you can train with Crazy Leo himself.
You can do certain types of training in your own car, just check the vehicle requirements for each location.
If you train in one of ours, our fleet is all GD-generation Subaru Imprezas. Mechanics and rally teams have trusted this chassis for years because it’s balanced, predictable, durable, and exceptionally well suited to learning car control. It has also been the foundation for countless top-spec rally cars, which is usually a decent sign.
So you’re not just getting a world-class curriculum. You’re learning it in cars deliberately chosen for the job.
Experiences
Experience driving in a way you’ve never before, from unleashing your inner rally driver to a full blown shot gun ride in a real championship-winning rally car. Group and solo experiences are available, including large groups events, corporate events and team building.
Driving Courses
Train to become a safer and more confident driver through car control courses, defensive driving courses, young driver courses, PTSD/PCSS and regaining confidence packages. These are the life-saving skills that are absolutely essential for driving that are not taught in regular driving schools. Corporate fleet training and specialty tactical training available.
Motorsport Training
Whether you are a complete newbie or you’ve been competing for a while, at Race Lab you will find ressources to build your career in motorsports, develop as a professional driver, start competing, and anything in between. Rallycross, stage rally, track racing, autocross, time attack, etc.
Drivers from all walks drives of life (including those who haven’t started driving yet) are welcome at Race Lab!
