Get a head start on building good driving habits from an early age
This training is designed to teach proper car control techniques and recovery maneuvers from a young age. As you know, starting earlier is crucial to building good habits.
Training happens one-on-one on a dirt track, which simulates lower grip conditions. The surface can vary greatly depending on the location you choose, the season, and the weather conditions.
Passing all the G-level driving license exams doesn't prepare you for the real world. This training does. Especially in a country where road conditions are constantly changing due to seasonality and inclement weather.
Your driving time slot will be assigned after purchase. We’ll do our best to accommodate your preferred time, but please note that early bookings get priority. The event runs from 9 AM to 7 PM.
You’re welcome to join us for the entire day and enjoy the atmosphere, but you’ll be on the track only during your allocated slot.
Race Lab's Subaru Imprezas are automatic with a manual gear selector.
For ages 12+. No driver's license required, we will teach you from the ground up! Recommended for all teens, whether you don't have a license, have your G1 or G2.

When you sign up, you will receive a link to a tutorial video that teaches the correct advanced motorsports steering technique. You have the option to pratice this steering technique on a parking lot before coming to the event to be more prepared.

You can attend a 2-3 hour online workshop with Crazy Leo a few days before the event. He covers advanced car control techniques, shares rally stories, and more. It's interactive, so feel free to ask questions or just be a fly on the wall—no pressure :).

On the event day please come 15 minutes before your time slot to sign in. A helmet will be provided.
You will be training in one of Race Lab's Subaru Imprezas one-on-one with an instructor on our closed dirt track.
The curriculum and progression of the training will depend on your current driving level. The instructor will work with you to make sure you feel comfortable with the new material.
After the training day, you will get an email with custom feedback. This will include notes your instructor made during the training, additional commentary about your performance, as well as custom recommendations for future training and practice.
Generally recommended next steps would be:
- Retaking this same course as many times as you feel you need to. Try coming out to different tracks to train on different types of surfaces and layouts.
- You can move on to more advanced car control if you feel you are ready, starting with Skid Pad: Car Control Fundamentals
- If you feel like you are looking for a more custom approach or have your G1 or G2 and would like training on open roads, please contact us so we can figure out the perfect training plan for you
The curriculum and speed of instruction will depend on your skill level and progression.
You can come back and do this training as many times as you and your instructor see fit for your development and goals.
