Feel what it's like to rally: Drive a Subaru rally-style on a dirt track and top it off with a shot gun ride in a championship-winning rally car!
Rallying is an insane motorsport. But it's not easy. So we've come up with the Real Life Rally Simulation so that you can experience rallying without being a pro!
Take the wheel of a Subaru Impreza and zoom on the dirt track rally-style! Then, jump in the co-driver's seat of a rally car as Crazy Leo goes FLAT OUT, so you can feel what it's like to truly rally!
The driving portion (stage 1) is a group experience with 3 drivers in one car. If your group has more than 3 people, you will be split into different cars. If you are coming alone, you will join a group of two other drivers. If you have any questions about how this works, please contact us.
The rally car shot gun ride (stage 2) is a solo experience - it will be only you and the rally driver in the rally car sending it!
Race Lab's Subaru Imprezas are AUTOMATIC with a manual gear selector.
For ages 16+. No driver's license required, but driving experience recommended.
How it Works
If you choose an event, we will reach out to you to confirm your time slot after you make the purchase.
If you choose "Flexible Event" for a gift or because you're unsure, we will reach out to you and help you choose a date and time.
When you sign up, you'll get a link to an advanced steering tutorial. We STRONGLY recommend practicing it in an empty parking lot before the event. This will help you drive at an advanced level, allowing your instructor to push you further beyond your limits.
Optional but heavily recommended.
Opt-in for a 2-3 hour online workshop with Crazy Leo a few days before the event. He covers advanced car control techniques, shares rally stories, and more. It's interactive, so feel free to ask questions or just be a fly on the wall—no pressure :).
The workshop is included but optional.
On the event day please come 15 minutes before your time slot to sign in. A helmet will be provided.
When your instructor is ready, you will get into one of Race Lab's Subaru Imprezas, drive up to the start line, and SEND IT!
The experience comes with 1.5h of in-car time. The driving time will be split equally across the three drivers with rotations done regularly. This is the perfect blend of seat time and observation time, because you get to benefit and learn from the mistakes and coaching of the other drivers.
Want some friendly competition? Laps can be timed if the group chooses to.
After you got your driving in, you will hop into the co-driver's seat of the rally car of your choice, and Crazy Leo will drive FLAT OUT so you can feel what it's like to RALLY!
IMPORTANT! This experience is NOT SUITABLE for expectant mothers and for people with heart conditions, injuries, epilepsy, recent surgeries or any other condition that might be aggravated by fast motion and physical strain. Think of a shotgun ride like a ride on a roller coaster.
